Can I use ASPIN even if I have a Food Service Management Company?

Yes, you can!  

ASPIN (Arizona School Partners in Nutrition) is Mohave’s food service purchasing program. ASPIN administers contracts for food and related supplies for over 150 member agencies.  

Contracts are currently awarded to Shamrock Foods, Shamrock Dairy, and Holsum Bakery.  

ASPIN can support your self-operated programs, as well as provide a purchasing solution for student stores, student clubs, and before and after school programs. ASPIN can also partner with food service management companies (FSMC), depending on how the district’s solicitation was written. If the solicitation stipulated that the district would retain ownership of the procurement of food, ASPIN is an excellent option to fulfill that procurement.
