New Due Diligence Feature to Assist with Federal Compliance

by Mohave Contacts

Starting in October 2023, Mohave began including the Vendor Classifications from our OpenGov Procurement’s Notified Bidders List in our Due Diligence packages. Below is an example of the screenshot you will find after the Notified Bidder’s List.

The Vendor Classification on OpenGov provides the number of minority businesses that received notice of our solicitations. This helps show compliance with 2 CFR 200.321 that requires affirmative steps to ensure that small, minority, and women’s business enterprises are placed on solicitation lists, and are solicited whenever they are potential sources. Should you need this information on a contract awarded prior to October 2023, Mohave has this data readily available upon request.

Classification Number of Vendors % of Total Vendors
Certified Small Business 166 11.50%
Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise 12 0.83%
LGBT Owned 5 0.35%
Minority Business Enterprise 98 6.79%
Native American Owned 13 0.90%
US DOT Certified DBE 26 1.80%
Veteran Owned 27 1.87%
Woman Business Enterprise 122 8.45%

Save Money with ASPIN Discounts and Incentives

by ASPIN Team

As an ASPIN member, you have access to competitive contract pricing, prompt pay discounts, and the possibility of additional incentives. For Shamrock Foods purchases, ASPIN pays the vendor directly for all member purchases within 10 days of delivery. This lessens the exposure for the vendor related to receivables, which allows the vendor to price their contract more competitively. Also, prompt pay discounts of 0.5% are applied to all items purchased by members, saving you even more money. In addition to core list pricing of high-velocity items and the prompt pay discounts, members receive incentives for large volume deliveries. The ASPIN team monitors the specified incentive thresholds by invoice and submits information quarterly to the vendor. The vendor then generates a discount for the volume incentives earned, which are applied to the member’s future invoices. Contact if you’d like to learn more about how you can maximize your agency’s funds!
