We post these for your agency’s verification and for assurance that Mohave works hard to ensure that our contracts meet your cooperative compliance reviews. New Website Feature – Contract Dates

At Mohave, we are constantly striving to improve your experience and make your job a little easier. Your feedback is invaluable, and it is why we annually reach out with our member survey. This year, a suggestion has directly influenced a helpful addition to our website.
We have added important contract dates to each “About Vendor” contract page. Here is what you can now find in the left sidebar on each contract page:
- Award Date: The date the contract was officially awarded.
- Effective Date:: When orders can start being placed under the contract.
- Next Renewal: Our contracts typically run for five years, with annual renewals leading up to the final expiration.
- Final Expiration: The last day orders can be placed under the contract.
We believe updates like these make accessing and utilizing contract information quicker and they are part of our ongoing commitment to make your job easier.

The ASPIN team has been diligently working to ensure the early posting of pricing for the upcoming school year. We are committed to providing you updated pricing as soon as possible so you can plan your menus. Over the last few years, we have enhanced our processes to supply this information sooner. Our efforts include ongoing review of velocity reports throughout the year and regular meetings with our contracted vendor at each stage of the renewal process to address member requests, manufacturer scorecards, and communication with all stakeholders. Upon receiving pricing from Shamrock Foods, each line item undergoes thorough vetting for errors and discrepancies. Concurrently, a cost analysis is performed against the previous year’s pricing. Items with significant price increases are challenged and verified. Finally, ASPIN meets with the Executive Committee for final suggestions before posting. We appreciate your continued partnership and feedback, as we strive to best serve your procurement needs.
