Tami Hitt-Wyant
Director of ASPIN
I am both grateful and humbled to be joining the ASPIN/Mohave team where my priority will be to provide support and quality service to the members of ASPIN. I have over 20 years’ experience as a leader in Food Service. I was privileged to serve as a Child Nutrition Director for the past decade. I am an Alabama native and after high school, I moved to Montana and graduated from the University of Montana. I now hold credentials as a Dietetic Technician Registered, Certified Dietary Manager, School Nutrition Specialist, and Certified Food Safety Professional.
My experience as a school district Director and member of the ASPIN Executive Committee allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of food markets and procurement. I am a firm believer in continued learning as a member of the School Nutrition Association, Arizona Association of School Business Officials, and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
My time away from work is spent with family. I love any activities that involve being with my husband, daughter, and son, especially exploring Arizona outdoors.
